Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Majors Mix Ltd ("we", "us", "our") supplies ready mix concrete, floor screed and concrete pumping across London and the surrounding area. We are registered in England & Wales under company number 11073415, with our registered office at Southend Road, East Ham, London E6 2AL.
We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this website (majorsmix.com). If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at sales@majorsltd.co.uk or on 0203 916 6555.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a quote, use our concrete calculator, or contact us by phone, email, WhatsApp or a form on this site, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, phone number, email address, delivery postcode or site address, and details of your project (such as volume, concrete grade and preferred delivery date).
Information collected automatically. Like most websites we use cookies and similar technologies to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. This includes device and usage information (pages visited, approximate location, device type) and, if you arrive via a Google ad, an advertising click identifier which we store in your browser together with a short internal reference code so we can tell that an enquiry came from an advert.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and provide quotes, schedule deliveries and supply our services.
- To keep records of quotes, orders and deliveries, including for accounting and tax purposes.
- To measure and improve our website and our advertising (for example, knowing which adverts lead to enquiries).
- To comply with our legal obligations.
We rely on the following legal bases under UK GDPR: taking steps to enter into a contract with you (quotes and orders), our legitimate interests (running and promoting our business, keeping records, preventing fraud), consent (for non-essential cookies where required), and compliance with legal obligations.
4. WhatsApp and phone contact
If you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, your messages are handled through WhatsApp, whose processing of your data is governed by its own privacy policy (Meta Platforms). We see the messages and phone number you send us and use them to handle your enquiry. Phone calls may be noted for quoting and scheduling purposes.
5. Who we share information with
We never sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, under appropriate safeguards:
- Google (analytics and advertising measurement, and business tools we use for internal record-keeping).
- Framer, which hosts this website.
- Professional advisers (accountants, insurers, lawyers) where necessary.
- Authorities or regulators where the law requires it.
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, transfers are protected by recognised safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to make the site work, and analytics and advertising cookies (such as Google Analytics and Google Ads) to understand site usage and measure campaigns. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the site works. Advertising identifiers stored in your browser expire or can be cleared by deleting your browsing data.
7. How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry and quote details for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return to place an order. Records connected to orders and invoices are kept for six years as required by UK accounting and tax law. Advertising measurement data is retained in line with Google's standard retention periods.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to request access to your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email sales@majorsltd.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk — though we would appreciate the chance to resolve any concern with you first.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with the date above.
