Terms & Conditions

1. About us and these terms
This website (majorsmix.com) is operated by Majors Mix Ltd, registered in England & Wales under company number 11073415, registered office Southend Road, East Ham, London E6 2AL. You can contact us at sales@majorsltd.co.uk or on 0203 916 6555.
These terms cover your use of this website and set out the key terms on which we supply ready mix concrete, floor screed and pumping services. The specific details of any supply — price, volume, grade, delivery slot and any charges — are those stated in your quotation or order confirmation, which together with these terms form the agreement between us. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
2. Using this website
The content of this site is provided for general information. You may browse and use it for your own personal or business purposes, but you may not copy, scrape or reuse its content, branding or images without our permission. We aim to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
3. Calculator results are estimates
Our concrete calculator and any instant estimates on this site are provided as a guide only. Final volumes and prices are confirmed by our team when you book — site conditions, access and specification can affect both. Always confirm your requirement with us before preparing your site or booking other trades.
4. Quotes, prices and payment
- Quotations are valid for the period stated on the quote and are otherwise subject to change.
- Prices are per cubic metre (m³) at the agreed grade, plus any charges stated in the quote (for example pumping, out-of-hours delivery or minimum-load charges). VAT is added where applicable.
- Because our volumetric trucks batch concrete on site, you are charged for the volume actually poured, measured by the truck's calibrated meter, subject to any minimum charge stated in your quote.
- Payment is due on or before delivery unless we have agreed credit terms with you in writing.
5. Delivery and site access
- Delivery slots are agreed with you when you book. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by traffic or conditions beyond our control; we will keep you informed.
- You are responsible for ensuring safe and lawful access for our vehicle, including any permits, parking suspensions or traffic management your site needs, and for ensuring the ground can support the vehicle.
- If a delivery cannot be made because access is not possible or the site is not ready, an aborted delivery charge may apply as stated in your quote.
- Our price includes a reasonable unloading window, stated on your quote. Waiting time beyond it is chargeable at the rate stated on your quote.
6. Cancellations and rescheduling
Plans change — let us know as early as possible and we will rearrange your slot where we can, without charge if reasonable notice is given. Because concrete and screed are mixed to your specification at the point of delivery, once mixing or delivery has begun the order cannot be cancelled and the goods cannot be returned. For consumers ordering at a distance, this means the usual 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply to concrete that has been mixed to your specification; it continues to apply to anything else it covers by law.
7. Quality and responsibility
We supply concrete and screed to the grade and specification agreed in your quote, batched with calibrated equipment. Choosing the right specification for your application, and the placement, compaction, finishing and curing of the material once discharged, are the customer's responsibility unless we have expressly agreed otherwise in writing. Risk in the goods passes on delivery; ownership passes on payment in full.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability in connection with a supply is limited to the price paid for that supply. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights — including that goods must be of satisfactory quality and as described — are unaffected.
9. Complaints, law and jurisdiction
If something isn't right, contact us at sales@majorsltd.co.uk or on 0203 916 6555 and we will work with you to put it right. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — though if you are a consumer you may also rely on the consumer protections of the country you live in.
